The sizing is as expected but the lace around the bottom doesnt lay as flat as I expected. The layering does show some under most my dresses. I actually dont feel like the top portion of lace needs to be there- I am short (5'3") so a lot of dresses arent too short for me. I decided to keep this bc it does give a little touch of "pretty" to some dresses (I wear it so a little of the bottom shows) and I feel a little more comfortable at work wearing dresses that are a little longer in length/have multiple layers (I teach 7th graders 😳).
