I have had one of these combs for over 15 years! It lasts forever, very strong, amazingly simple, and the feature that mattered most to me (and why I chose this one so long ago) is perfectly smooth between the teeth. There are no corners and edges, hooks or the like. It is very smooth throughout. After years of use, natural scalp oils help condition the wood. If you have very dry/not very oily hair, you can rub in some olive oil when it feels dry to condition it. I bought my original hairbrush directly from The Body Shop's website and it was $12 + shipping/tax. This is the exact same hairbrush but a lot cheaper and with free shipping if you have Prime! I finally had to buy a replacement for my favorite original comb because I accidentally stepped on my first one. 🥺😭😭😭 And yes I cried lol. This was the ONLY thing I've used to detail my hair since I had the original; I have never used another comb/brush again. That's all you need and I have very thick curly hair. I bought 2 more to replace the first one: one for home and one for my purse. They are just like my original and I treasure them!
