I got this to switch between multiple sources for my computer's audio interface. It feels solidly made, and works with no noticeable noise or signal loss. I didn't particularly need a volume control, but sometimes it's nice to be able to twist a knob rather than go through a series of mouse clicks to attenuate the signal. And, turning the 5-position switch beats disconnecting and reconnecting cables every time I need to reconfigure inputs. All in all, a nice professional-looking addition to my home studio setup.
