So this brush is so good for smoothing and straightening my long hair. Where has this type of product been all my life?!? I can't believe it took me so long to discover the hot comb - I may never use a straightener again. There are two features or what I consider design flaws that users should consider before purchasing: 1) The cable does not rotate where it connects to the device. This is inconvenient because given the proportions of the heavy end of the handle and the light end of the comb, the comb keeps falling off whenever I place it on the countertop. (Risk of burns), but to me a blinking light means "preheating" and a solid light means "preheating and ready to use". So I had to get used to the constantly flashing light when using it. A little annoying. However, it heats up very quickly! So that's a plus. All in all I leave it, but if I were to buy another one in the future I'd look for one that had the three features above that this one lacks: a swiveling cable, a solid 'ready', and ideally, too a "preheat” setting on the "in use” display.
