Does not affect camera rotation when the base screw is tightly screwed into the camera base.
Purchased for a Sony camera. The threaded screw is only tightened until it actually presses the camera against the base. The camera can still be rotated easily after the base screw has been tightened. It would be nice if they just added a pin which most of these adapters have to prevent rotation or just not make the screw too long. I will not buy these again nor will I recommend them.
