We have very hard water, even the test indicators go off scale. But after the filter, the water is within the drinking norm. The scale on the kettle has disappeared, there is no plaque on the humidifier. The installation instructions say that you need to block the entrance to the tank. Question: the entrance to the tank is blocked when: A). Is the faucet turned clockwise? or B). The faucet handle is turned across the hose/pipe, symbolizing the overlap? It's just that usually in all taps A and B coincide, and there is no doubt. But in this case, turning it clockwise orients the faucet handle along the hose / tube, symbolizing an open faucet - which is somewhat confusing. As it turned out, it is closed - when it is turned clockwise, the handle must be ignored. With or without a mineralizer, there is definitely a difference. As they wrote in the review that PPM is the same - so why should it be different? The pH changes with the addition of salts. I can’t say about PPM after cleaning, our water is not so dirty. I can say for sure that after turning off the water, the filter filters Coca-Cola without any problems. There is an opinion that if you are not satisfied with the membrane from the Geyser, then put any other membrane. The filter is assembled on standard components, there is no binding to the manufacturer, like many other filters. Personally, I got a filter with a marriage: during assembly, the connection between the flasks was not tightened to the end, it began to leak. The support of the Market, the seller and the Geyser did not help from the word at all. Market's support turned over to the seller, the seller began to freeze, and the Geyser did not answer at all. Fortunately, the filter is made on standard components and it is very easy to fix it yourself - which I did. Just in case, be careful when buying and reassemble the assembled block. Well, or put a water leak sensor - in any case, it will not be superfluous with so many connections.
