I live in an old house and the ball hit the window and left a hole. The window company said that due to a number of factors (window age, window size and supply/demand) the window replacement would take around 3 months. Didn't think duct tape and plastic or plastic and cardboard duct tape would stand up to the weather. So I put on a MacGyver hat and tried using sheets - one inside and one outside. I used marine glue (5200) and although it's not transparent I knew 5200 would be weatherproof. We had a hurricane (Ida) and wind and rain in all directions. These sheets held up to the weather and I had no problems with water seeping in. In terms of adhesion, no glue kits were supplied and I am unfamiliar with using Gorilla glue. I know that 5200 is a reliable source of rain and cold.
