Review on πŸ’‡ Remington PG6045 Haircut Kit by Wiktor Wiater ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

The trimmer is over 6 years old. What they just did not cut. And the beard, and the body, and the head. Even a dog. Neither the blade, nor the nozzle, nor the motor broke. The quality plastic hasn't chipped anywhere. Only the inscription remington on the gloss has been erased. I believe that it has outlived its battery or controller, as it suddenly stopped charging (perhaps after trying to charge it with a non-native charger). The light is on but the shaver is not charging. It's a pity, I would have continued to use it. What can I say, the trimmer is excellent. I have only used the main head, the shaving head (mesh) and the ear/nose head. The nozzles were practically not cleaned inside, only outside. I suspect that this is why the main nozzle after a long haircut heats up to a burn, but it performs its function. Unless, since it was the most frequently used, the fastening of the nozzle loosened a little (after 4 years, yeah), I had to hold it with my finger so that it would not move out. The mesh nozzle is small, I would like it to be wider, since it takes a lot of time to shave even some corners. It is difficult to cut hair on the head, as the teeth are small, as is the width of the blade. Long and soft hair (shorn dog York) captures badly, but these are already whims. It is not very convenient to store nozzles because of the wide stand that does not fit into the cabinet above the sink, otherwise they are not "at hand". As a result, 1 nozzle is always on the razor, and the other 2 are lying around. Removed the rest. Also, the narrow teeth on the main nozzle can easily get into wide pores or other skin irregularities, which leads to cuts. In general, an excellent trimmer for your money and for your purposes. There is a mountain of nozzles, even adjustable in length. I’ll probably choose a new one with a wider razor head, otherwise it’s a very long time to shave even 1 cheek with this wick

Pros
  • - Endurance. Lasted over 6 years with little to no cleaning or oiling. - Compact size - Long battery life - Rich equipment - Easy nozzle change - Battery indicator (turns off when charged)
Cons
  • - It is difficult to clean the nozzles (maybe they are collapsible, but because of the fear of breaking, I did not do this) - Shaving head too narrow - The main nozzle gets very hot (perhaps because it has never been lubricated) - The wide stand will not fit into a narrow cabinet above the sink - Narrow teeth on the main nozzle (you can catch on uneven skin and cut yourself) - I recommend trimming a long beard with scissors, as the trimmer cuts the cut end if you cut it on weight.
