This has helped me more than I care to admit. I've tried using homemade tools or whatever - toothpicks, a rotary knife, etc - and it worked. but could not achieve the desired detail. The only downside is that a couple of the tools broke when cutting the edges of the clay (polymer). I didn't want to make big plays and it didn't bother me. The wood is too soft. Nonetheless. These tools will work just fine until I upgrade to a more robust set.
