At first I thought this food was great. The ingredients were very good compared to other brands of cat food. Also, the pellets were small enough for my 1 year old cat. At 7 months my kitten started urinating blood. I took her to the vet immediately and they diagnosed a UTI with no other associated symptoms and told me to keep an eye on her. This cleared up until I noticed the same thoughts came up after she was a year old. The vet treated another course of antibiotics. The third time happened last week and we took her to the vet immediately. They tested her and linked it to cystitis. At 7 months she had 3 episodes of blood in her urine which is very alarming. During my research, I came across a blog where other cat parents found a connection between this food and urinary problems in their cats. Now that I understand how common urinary problems are in cats, I encourage cat parents to do their own research. Without such a connection I would consider another brand. Strongly disappointed.
