I bought this phone and used it for 2 months. Rarely used, less than 1 call per day on average, less than 10 minutes of use per day. I mainly used it as a speakerphone when talking to support. No rough treatment, no children, no abuse. Now he's dead. Suddenly. And no, it's not the batteries or a line failure. There were no power surges in my house (it runs on batteries anyway). Luckily, I have an $8 Chinese-made phone that I keep as a backup. The Chinese phone is ugly, yellowed, over 10 years old, poor build quality. and it always works. AT&T, your quality is terrible. This is the second AT&T phone I've died in 2 years. It's also the last AT&T phone I've ever bought. The first time is a failure, the second time in two months is a pattern. You can't fool me a third time.
