speed is good and meets expectations for USB 3. Above I posted the CrystalDiskMark speed with a Samsung 830 SSD. The image also includes part of the Device Manager window showing the this shows case supports UASP , which indicates a USB storage device attached to SCSI (UAS). The top cap is a bit off due to the notch being a bit larger than the latch that holds it in place, but I don't think it will come loose. I first bought a UGreen case that said "aluminum provides heat dissipation". but the upper aluminum cover was completely covered with a thick plastic layer on the inside, which would probably reduce the heat development. This Nekteck case has two silicone plugs on the ends, there is nothing but air between most of the top of the SSD and the aluminum cover, which is what I was looking for to improve heat dissipation. I love this design where you can remove the cover and use it as a flat drive bay if you're only going to be using it with an SSD for a short time. The cable is thick and not very flexible, but I hope it will support higher power. I have an Anker 100W USB-C to USB-C cable and it's thick too. It would be nice if they listed the wattage rating of the cable.
