Almost perfect notebook accessory

Super cute. Can hold a lot. It would be ideal if the top were completely closed. The zip on the sides is open, allowing rain to enter the bag. I live in PNW and it rains a lot here so that's a big problem for me. I would also like to have a long adjustable shoulder strap. I want to keep this bag but I just don't know if it will work.
