I first bought these tights many years ago (2012) when I was an active long distance runner and 150 pounds weighed. small, I really liked the tights that support my joints and bought 4 more (small size) - I still wear them and today I decided to buy a new one weighing 195 pounds and was very surprised that the small ones still fit. I was thinking of taking a size up to M but you want them to be snug otherwise the support areas of the tights will start to shift. I'm 5'9, 195 lbs, lost 10 lbs in the last 2 weeks trying to get to 175 and my waist is 32. I'm a tall guy with broad shoulders. It takes some work to build legs so if you have my build small/medium will do the job although the small size works for me. I squat in it all the time and I don't feel stretched or anything. Only high quality stuff.
