I double checked my DVI type before ordering and ordered the correct type. After I connected to my monitor it worked the first time, but after I walked away from my computer, put the screen to sleep, and then came back, it stopped working. Every time before I sat down at my desk or left long enough for my monitor to go to sleep before I could use the monitor, I had to unplug the DVI connector from my computer and plug it back in. After 2 days I did what anyone else would have done. Throw it in the trash and order an HDMI to VGA adapter. Should have paid $4 for a quality plug rather than this junk the first time around.
