These are regular cellulose sponges but with a cute shape and a pattern on one side. Personally, I like the snouts of a cat and a butterfly best. The print on my star lip is a bit off-center, but I don't find it too much. The colors are beautiful and bright. The sponges come dehydrated, compressed and individually wrapped which is very convenient as they are easy to store until you want to use them. They also come with a piece of string that you can tie to hang to dry. I recommend attaching the rope while the sponges are still dry as this is a lot easier than trying to do this when they are damp. These sponges are very soft, which can be both a plus and a minus. They're gentle on the dishes so you don't have to worry about them scratching them, but they're not enough to remove stuck food either. They are particularly suitable for rinsing plates, cups and cutlery. They are also soft and gentle enough to be used as a bath sponge. I am satisfied with my order of these sponges. I will use them as dish sponges and they will be a really cute decoration in the kitchen.
