These boots are everything I've been looking for; just like Cinderella, the shoe is a perfect fit! I've purchased boots similar to this on ebay but returned them due to the narrow fit preventing me from squeezing my foot no further than past the shaft. I have wider feet, thicker thighs, defined calve muscles, and as some of the previous reviews stated, these boots run a little bigger, so I opted for my true size of 7.5 to avoid them being too big or loose in the foot area. If it helps, I'm 5'0 and the top of the boot shaft stops at about 1/4 of the way up my thighs (so about 5 inches above my knee caps). The stretch throughout the shaft is a perfect give without being too loose and the drawsting holds it in place nicely. Will recommend and would definitely purchase in an additional color!
