So Far So Good: my feedback

Terra Cotta is ORANGE, I saw others mention it but thought it wouldn't be that bad but hello traffic cone orange strawberry planter. I planted the top half with bareroot pineberries and the bottom half with bareroot strawberries. My hope is that the birds wouldn't notice the red berries as much on the bottom. I have had to water each compartment as I can't seem to water it enough for it to drain to the middle or bottom without washing out the dirt/plants at the top, but since I got it for space saving its not too much of an issue. If I dismantle it between this year and next I'll add a PVC pipe with holes to carry the water to the bottom. I filled it with a 60/40 mix of potting soil and perlite and its not too heavy to rotate daily for the sun. Its not a magic cure all for growing but its nice for my purposes. This is a picture of it the day of planting, the plants have since all leafed out except one the got torn out by a bird or my mischievous puppy.
