I chose these bearings because I didn't want to spend more than $150 on bearings at my auto parts store for a car with over 200,000 miles on the original transmission. The old bearings weren't easy to remove, but after applying oil, a small sledgehammer, and removing rust/oxidation, they snapped right into place. I'll update the review if they fail sooner but at 1/4 the price I'm pretty sure they won't last 100,000 miles like the old ones I replaced 8 years ago. The machine is calm again, so I'm satisfied.
