My turntable sits on a shelf above one of my speakers and sometimes I have problems with records skipping or slight flickering when playing bass-heavy records at a reasonable volume (the counterbalance on my stylus is set to around not to put too much pressure on the records being played). Once one of these mats was placed under the turntable, this was no longer a problem. Definitely recommend this as an easy fix to avoid cracking and prevent your grooves from wearing out. The delivery was fast and the product seems to be very durable.
