We love this carrycot! My not-so-small 4 month old had outgrown the original bassinet (he had reached his maximum height and weight) and we needed something with higher limits. I loved the look of the light wood grain pattern on the fabric. It seemed to me less "cheap" than gray. Although of course it's just a matter of opinion. My husband assembled it in minutes and to my great surprise this piece of furniture is sturdy. Compared to a lot of "easy to assemble" furniture these days, I really like this piece. It's like a mini crib, which I totally agree with. It's a large size for me (I'm 5ft 4) and it's a good size to be next to the bed, but I also don't have to lean very low to put my baby down. The bottom has a fabric "shelf" that I put my nursing pillow and blanket on when not in use, which is nice because they don't touch the floor. I would say the only downside is that it's pretty flat so you just have to watch the baby when they can turn around, pull up or sit up on their own. Otherwise great stuff! I'm so glad I bought it, especially for the price!
