I'm the kind of person who hates going to the nail salon - I love the results but I hate how long it takes and how much it costs. I've also bought every known brand of nail polish, cheap, expensive, and everything in between. I'm never satisfied with the result with normal nail polish. My nails either look messy or smudge within the first hour and break within a few days and it's so frustrating. I decided to purchase this set as a last resort for at home manicures. It definitely took me a while to get used to it, but now I'm looking forward to coloring my nails! They last 1-3 weeks in my experience and the fact that they cure instantly in a lamp is a HUGE PLUS. I even bought a set for my mom for Mother's Day and she loves it. The only major downside was the problem with removing the gel polish but I have since bought a steam remover which makes it so much easier. It's not as good as a professional one, but it's pretty damn close, so worth the time and money you save.
