This is an amazing little device that allows you to select three inputs to send to an HDMI component input. My 21" TV only has one HDMI input and I have two players. I simply connect each player to one of the inputs on the device and connect the output from the device to the single HDMI input on my TV. To select any input, I just press the little button on the back. This device does not require a power source. Apparently the power for switching comes from the HDMI signals themselves. The picture quality is impeccable I would say. Just as good as direct entry, I would say. Definitely a great little device and incredible value for money! John
