I have had MANY iPad keyboard cases over the many years. This one is very good. I prefer the design that does NOT have a "kickstand" as they need a hard surface to be stable. This style is about as good as it can get. Removable keyboards are a joke, anyone who types at a different location, needs to rethink their work habits or get a cover that is more stable so they can bring the tablet with them. This one is the one of the slimmest, but it is more than sturdy enough. The tilt has good magnets to hold the iPad at the angle. It self turns on both the iPad and keyboard immediately (if you open it). If you leave it open, it powers the keyboard off (saving battery), but quickly turns on again if you tap any key. If turns everything off if you close it. If you want to use the iPad as a tablet, you simply lay it on top. IT is level and easy to hold. The ones with removable keyboards, you have to detach the keyboard first (clumsy). Did I mention that it is also VERY inexpensive (compared to others)? The "only" problem I see is that it only has 2 positions when standing and I would prefer it to have a straighter angle (the highest is still leaning at about 40 degrees).I have not had it long enough to test the battery life, but I expect it will be more than nominal. I have to recharge my iPad daily, but EVERY keyboard/cover I have ever used seems to have batteries that last almost a year (before needing a recharge), which is more than I would EVER need. This was a good purchase for me. I would buy another and would recommend this to others!
