STOP DESIGNING FOR FUNCTIONALITY TOP DESIGN

It's really crazy haha admittedly I bought the one on sale from B&H that came with camera cubes and tech case, not here on Amazon. This is by far the nicest bag I've owned, but its functionality is disappointing. He tries so hard to do a million different things, but they all interfere with his primary function. Their love of over-designing simple things tends to appeal to the company and the balance is usually decent, but this is where they've cornered the curve. Because they want all of the straps to fold and rotate so much under the back flap, this puts the shoulder hinges in the only logical place to fold and tuck, but sadly, almost everyone I know with this bag admits they're for You in the wrong position is real shoulders when carrying the bag. You cannot adjust the straps at the top of the bag without making adjustments for different body types. I'm 6ft tall and lift decent weights and the waist straps don't even wrap properly. The strap is only 3/4" long and even if it did fit I don't think it would be enough for the weight of the bag. Unloaded the bag weighs about 5 pounds and loaded with the cameras designed for the bag it is unimaginably heavy. Operators deal with the inevitable back problems and this bag speeds up the process rather than alleviating it. It makes sense if you're carrying it as a duffel, but wearing a backrest as a duffel for your entire life is crazy You can also buy a Sachtler Doctor bag or other bag designed for it.I thought it would bring good luck for the upcoming San Francisco documentary shoot in a few weeks and it ended up being good despite a week or so of testing didn't meet the requirements I ended up buying two Pelican 1510 cases as they are on wheels and don't weigh your back, offer better protection and for me the best solution are. The bag is so beautiful it tears me up and I keep thinking about how to make it spin, but all I can think of is to take less gear or add it to the top of the Pelican as an extra bag tie, but at this price point I might as well use a $20 duffel bag and tie the straps to the Pelican's handle instead of bringing a $400 kit bag that you end up paying for some crazy functionality that's awesome , but is nowhere near as important as their ability to CARRY GEAR. SECURE. Call me crazy like everyone else, but I think the backpack should start with that feature and then add all the other absurd features. I have their Everyday Messenger, Everyday Backpack, Travel Backpack and a few other items but I've always had issues with the comfort and ability to carry them. I even pinched a nerve on the back of my neck from their Everyday Messenger and it was my daily carry with a Fuji mirrorless camera and an extra lens and some spare change but never with a laptop or tablet and it was still a silly situation. I can't decide if I should return them because these are beautiful bags too and the compliments you get are plentiful but hard to accept when you're flinching with discomfort haha I imagine how this woman stands on beautiful heels. Your mileage may vary, and for those with smaller builds who don't carry much, this might work for you. I hope my experience can help you in some way
