I touched up my roots and used some of my toner (wella t18 mixed with 2 parts 20 vol wella developer) for the clip in bangs. I purchased the lightest blonde they had and they were very very yellow when I got first got them, especially contrasted against my white toned hair. So I planned to tone them. It worked great! I got a perfect shade match with this method. But unfortunately since I used chemicals they became a little flat but I just have to style them more than usual with a straightener to add a curl and do a little more work with a hair dryer to get them looking natural. If anyone was wondering if you can tone them, I did it and it worked perfectly. I may have also accidentally put the toner in them and forgot about them… so they unintentionally sat in toner for over 12 hours LOL but they didnt fall apart or get stringy and the metal attachment clip was fine. The health of them appears fine even after my little accident. Hope this helps. These clip in bangs are about as good as you can get for the price and take just as natural hair does.
