In the 9 years we’ve had our mastiff, we’ve purchased at least 15 different beds, hoping for one she would actually lay on instead of my carpet or tile flooring. In the last few years she’s become incontinent, so I finally understood why waterproofing is important. This bed isn’t as thick as I would have wanted, but she likes it better than the previous bed. She lays on it instead of half off, and will choose this bed over the previous one that’s still in the bedroom. The waterproof cover wiped off easily after accidents, and it is super easy to take the cover off because the bed itself is lightweight.the last bed required two of us to change. My only complaint is the little dots on the bottom to make the bed stay put on the floor come off with every wash, leaving little black dots all over and inside my dryer.
