Review on Enhanced Woodstock D4221 Glue Spreader for Efficient Adhesive Applications by Mark Adlesh

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Durability is important to me.

I received this product on Monday and on Tuesday started using one of the 8 ounce glue bottles with a crescent shaped glue applicator. I was using it to glue about 50-60 cookies when the glue bottle cracked and the glue started leaking at the base of the neck. The plastic that makes up the bottle is too thin to allow for the back and forth rocking motions needed to spread the glue in the cookie slot and after relatively little use the bottle broke and the glue spilled what happened on Wednesday. On Thursday I switched to the second 8 ounce bottle included in the kit and then to my dismay and disappointment the same cracks and leaks appeared after using it to glue about 50-60 cookies on Friday. My previous cookie glue dispenser lasted several years, but none of the bottles in this set lasted more than 2 days. Needless to say, I would not recommend this set to other carpenters.

Pros
  • Glue Not Included
Cons
  • High Price
