I wanted to buy a wooden hairbrush because my hair often fell out and I realized that the hairbrushes were too aggressive with my hair. First, the glue attached to the comb was horribly sticky and left bits of glue or scraps of paper in my hair when I brushed it. I didn't want to use alcohol or water to completely remove it for fear it would damage the brush. Second, it is very difficult to keep. I'm very petite with small hands so thought this would be the perfect brush but the fact that it doesn't have a handle makes it difficult to grasp. I've only used it about 7 times since I bought it about 2 months ago and that's because I don't comb my hair often (combing my hair too hard causes hair loss), but the last time I combed my hair combed with a comb all of a sudden split in half. To be honest just save your money and go for a higher quality comb because this one is definitely not worth the price.
