I am knitting a knit piece for nurses, technicians and caregivers with a face mask for people in a hospital and nursing home in the Pittsburgh area. The rubber bands wrapping around the ears caused the backs of the ears to become irritated and red. This device allows them to attach 2 buttons to a knitted webbing so they can now attach elastics to 2 buttons. So far I have made over 100 of these devices. tries to do more. We bought 4 Walmart stores. and other people have mailed us buttons.
