I have a rimless glass cube aquarium that is about 12 inches all around. I decided to give it a try because I liked the fact that it's not big and black - it reminds me of a MacBook Pro with a brushed aluminum finish. The clip is only about 3 inches wide which means there is still room for the aquarium heater and air filter line. The clip is also laterally offset, so that all lines leading into the aquarium are in the same maskable area. with decor in front. There are 2 lighting modes: daylight and (blue) night light. The brightness level is not adjustable. The lighting mode is set via a toggle switch on the back of the clip, which isn't the most convenient, but I also like the fact that it has an adjustable neck that extends beyond the aquarium and can be raised or lowered to service the aquarium.
