This is a good durable knife and scissors sharpener. It comes with the added bonus of cut resistant gloves, but I won't test that. :). I sharpened some dull knives and a pair of scissors and they did the job perfectly. It has 3 different blades for sharpening knives. The first shank repairs and straightens damaged blades before the second groove is sharpened to restore their V-shape. The 3rd slot adjusts for a clean polish. There is also a slot for sharpening all types of scissors. Has a non-slip bottom for safety. If you are looking for a quality knife sharpener you will not be disappointed.
