I've used the standard clip-on curling iron my entire life, so the iron intrigued me. What I wanted were curls that lasted more than 5 minutes! I've only tried it once and I'm very satisfied! I used a knotted wand with a heat protection glove and took medium sized sections of hair. I think my hair would be too curly if I did very small strands. You can see the result in the photo! This took about 10-15 minutes. I held each section for 5-10 seconds. I love the roll up carry case it comes in. The only downside so far is that it doesn't rest on the worktop, but sits directly on it. So I had to put it on a glass plate to avoid burning my meter. I hope I enjoy the rest as the wand takes shape!
