Review on Misyue Hamster Portable Carrier Ramdom by Jennifer Addison

Bought this carrier to take one of my rats to the vet. Since I've already used it I won't be returning it, but I definitely won't be using it again. The good things first: the carrier looks good. Well, that's basically all I can praise. Now for problems. First, some parts on the short sides protrude from underneath - they were probably meant for attaching an extra piece like a lattice box. You can see them in the pictures. Although they are plastic, they are a bit sharp and the animal can injure themselves. Second, cleaning the carrier is troublesome. It's quite deep, I had to remove the top to wash the bottom. And the third problem is that disassembling the media is not so easy. You need a tool, e.g. B. a flathead screwdriver to pry open the latches. Reassembly also requires some effort. There are also some issues with the lid. The vet had to secure it with tape because a rat might open it. Not sure if it's that loose, or if the vet had trouble closing it: the lid latch is inconvenient. You have to pull on one part, push on the other and at the same time lift the lid. Sometimes I had to make an effort to open or close it. Another problem is the flat edge on the edge of the lid hole. My rat had her fingers on her trying to get out and I had to be extra careful not to pinch her fingers. With all these issues, using a carrier becomes impractical and dangerous, so I'll be replacing it soon. I do not recommend using this product.
