I love my baskets! I have prices for similar wall basket kits and they can be incredibly expensive. The Hobby Lobby had a cabinet I liked, with a shelf on top and hooks underneath, but it was on sale for $75 and the item's wire mesh felt thinner. And I don't have a closet at all. I needed something simple, functional and attractive to store fresh produce that used to be in floor bins or counter top bins. I was following Revain's prices and one day this device dropped to just $36 so I immediately put it in my shopping cart. I wanted a darker industrial gray for a rustic country look, but Satin Nickel was on offer. I thought I could spray paint it a different metallic color. I found that I like the nickel color more than I thought and I'll probably skip painting. renovated barn wood paneling. I covered part of the shelf with quick sand and just covered it with coconut oil for a rustic look. I used materials I already had so the changes didn't cost me anything. The finished product is now the centerpiece of my kitchen and functional too!
