Review on HawkEye Fishtrax 1C Fish Finder: HD Color Virtuview Display for Optimal Fishing Results by Chad Aguirre

Bought as a gift but it was a bit selfish as it was for my soul mate :) This year we rented a boat and wanted to find a fish finder that we wouldn't buy . t should assemble. One that will come in handy offshore if we hit a bank here or there. We have yet to fish offshore with this but based on the design I don't think that will be a problem. It is extremely accurate as I also use it for diving so I depend on its accuracy. That's a lot of trust! Easily fits into a boat bag along with a tote bag (sold separately). I also bought a separate suction cup holder which is very handy and also fits in the box I bought. I had no problems reading or viewing the screen. The transponder simply folds over and does as described giving you a full view. This product competes with the extremely expensive mounted sonar units I have used in the past. Absolutely to recommend.
