I have a regular two car garage with one door and two cars in it. (2014 Nissan Pathfinder left and 2019 Toyota Tundra right). I also have a workbench on the passenger side of my truck so it sits very tight against the wall. I bought this to measure how far my truck is from the wall when I enter my garage so I can make sure I don't scratch my truck on the workbench. It measures accurately enough that I no longer have to drive a little way into the garage and then get out and check the distance before driving all the way in. accurate enough to ensure my truck is aligned properly. This product fits the bill well.
