Review on Xbox Wireless Controller Black One by Aaron Leburu

IMPORTANT! READ THIS TO FIX ARROW DRIFT BEFORE IT HAPPENS!

If you're like me and you've never experienced stick drift until you bought an Xbox One controller and haven't used it while playing FPS games for about 6 months, you're probably back here at Revain next controller after succumbing to the futility of not being able to fix your first controller after watching tons of youtube videos or articles. Read below to find the best solution to this problem. Before using the controller for the first time, open up the controller so you can remove the faceplate and expose the circuit boards and get some crazy glue or gorilla. Glue (any strong and non-corrosive glue). Look to the left sides of the small metal boxes where the joysticks would normally be on the controller and you'll notice some dark gray detail. THIS causes an almost inevitable rod drift that cannot be completely eliminated later without a complicated component replacement involving soldering. You'll have to glue it in place (since Micro$oft uses cheap materials) by gluing it to the sides of this small dark gray panel. I did this about a year ago and my controller hasn't experienced any stick drift at all. As for my controller review, although made by Microsoft, this controller is much less reliable than the Xbox 360 controller. I have owned four Xbox 360 controllers for over 10 years and they all work without problems to this day.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Safety
