Remember this is by no means a traditional men's wallet. To be honest, he really doesn't look like a man. The husband thought it was a lady's purse. It's too thick to put in a man's back pocket. I personally love it as a card case though. I keep it in my purse. As for durability, I can't say for sure as I've owned it not long ago. However, the zipper is all metal and doesn't feel cheap compared to other card cases I've bought.
