This is my second ilife vacuum (similar model) and I liked the first one so much I bought a second one. I have mixed feelings about this so let's start with the positives: * The suction power is pretty good and better than my previous model. He leaves behind something I expected he would grab, but he also picks up a lot I didn't even know he could grab. Every time we empty the bin, it's both impressive and gross (which is so simple - pull out, empty, snap back in). * It's relatively quiet - you can have a conversation while it works in the room. and can glide under low surfaces to deal with dust balls under the bed. * The transition between unfinished floor and carpet is fluid. Sometimes he needs a boost, but not all of us do. This brings me to the cons. I knew it couldn't map space or move linearly when I bought it. However, it's almost always saved in a random area wherever it is, and those are never the areas I want to delete. I just saw him spend 20 minutes cleaning 3 feet down the hall without even trying to get back into the living room which is what I really wanted to clean. He's constantly cleaning the same 3 foot area in my dining room and wasting the rest of his battery trying to find his way into the kitchen instead of cleaning the other 95% of the dining room. This can be solved with another electronic wall as most of my rooms have 2 exits - I don't know. In the end, it's like having a toddler version of the vacuum cleaner that needs a lot of supervision and guidance to keep at work when I really needed something to take care of myself. Conclusion: I still like ilife and this product. . Given its tendency to run straight for areas I'm trying to stay away from, I wouldn't recommend it for multi-bedroom homes with more than one exit (unless there's a door). It serves its purpose but requires careful oversight for something designed to make life easier. He will clean the floor. But there's no logic or reason as to where he's going, and whether he covers all the ground over the course of his journey depends on the case.
