Some previous reviewers mentioned the strap was short or the shoulder straps were thin. I'm convinced that maybe they didn't understand how to wear this type of strap. Mine would fit an 8.5" wrist, in fact my wife removed some of the extra webbing as I prefer the hook on the middle of the wrist rather than on the side. I highly recommend doing a Google search to learn how to properly wear a bracelet. Marine National bracelet. Your hand goes through the center of the loop that is made when the strap is attached to the watch. As for the thin strap, I like it more than some of the thicker ones as there is less volume underneath the watch. Love me.
