I installed this on my LLY mainly to access the EGT. I've seen the drain plugs being tapped to crack the EGT sensor. Disconnect the steering shaft for better access. I had to tap a thread to get the included brass fitting into the saddle as it only took about 3 steps when shipping. I wanted the probe to be in the middle of the exhaust stream and it took me a while to get it there. The whole installation took 3 hours, everything is very simple. No noticeable difference when driving, but my only goal with the install was reliable access to the EGT.
