This caused problems and potential loss of food. I share my experience, if anyone has the same thing, they know it's not crazy. I understand how this device works. I know that when first plugged in, the delay function starts, meaning the fridge doesn't get power immediately. It has colored indicators showing its status. Roger that. The problem is that when I installed this unit and it provided power, the fridge stopped cooling. Instrument lights, interior lights, everything is on. During my testing it sounded like it was working, except once it never seemed to work. The temperature was just starting to rise. When I removed this device, the cooling went back to normal. I found it strange. I tested it three times. I could repeat the mistake every time. I allowed 5-10 minute pauses between turning it off and on again. I realized that this device prevented the compressor from not using it. I can't now count on seeing this behavior. i give it back I don't know much about fridges and compressors but I suspect this device is a bit of a power disruptor and in my house it's enough to make my fridge shut down.
