I don't often get excited about home appliance purchases, but every time we get a new air filter I'm thrilled! Technology keeps getting better over time. We started our air filter journey with fans and washable filters. This quickly became obsolete as they clap and are quite loud. Our next filter purchase in a few years was for a popular fan brand. They work well, but due to construction work, one broke right when we last moved. Replacement filters are also quite expensive. We needed a new one and this one looked good. Love the fact that it tells you about air quality. When I tested ours we were fine until the lasagna pan overflowed and smoke came out. He immediately felt the change (jump from 15 to over 200 - higher - worse) in about 30 seconds! He ran high for about an hour and a half, only to lower it again, and then switched to low. I like that there is an auto-detection mode! Other things I like: you can see the lifespan of your filter, looks and feels sturdy but not uncomfortable, quiet! What I don't like: The fork is a bit short, haven't seen filter change options yet but other reviewers said they would! All in all I like it very much :D
