If you like hamburgers to cook with, you can make your own smooth patties. Better yet, freeze beef or turkey burgers flat, even vacuum-packed patties. Even a hamburger cooks better - you know when the middle is done. And you can make exotic burgers like the legendary Jucy Lucy in Minneapolis. Your cardiologist frowns on that, you already know that (cheese in two patties, so melted cheese oozes like molten lava). However, this device has a large and a small (slide) press in a design that is not easy to disentangle. You have to take out the slider press which is stored at the top of the press part and it's a set of parts, a slatted floor, a ring shape that you have to play around with. This is too much. It would be better if it was easier, two parts per click (slider and burger).
