Review on 🚰 Seamless Leak-Proof Bulkhead Fitting for Effortless Homebrewing by Sean Powers

It's ready and doesn't need pumping anymore

Read many reviews about these valves. I chose this model because of the price, it was a complete build and it seemed to work well for those who bought it. Hole drilled and valve installed. In the "kit" there were a lot of washers and teflon tape, which surprised me. So that's the complete setup. There are no leaks and the valve is neither too tight nor too loose, just right. Now that I've brewed in a bag, I use the same pot for the brew and the brew. This valve allows easy transfer of the chilled wort to the fermenter. No more siphon. I even put a valve, not this one, on my plastic fermenter. No more pumping from the fermenter to a bottling bucket or keg. Update: On the day of brewing, the valve started leaking. I thought tightening it up would solve the problem. Wrong and ruined the washing machine, thank goodness for the extra washers as my local hardware store didn't have them. Eventually the valve was found to be against the edge of the burner base causing it to leak and I tightened the assembly. After adjusting my burner to the height of the valve and reinstalling the valve into the pot, it worked great.
