Simple, effective best-of cables, adapters and power strips

This will NOT change the voltage. This is just an adapter that allows you to connect EU plugs to North American outlets (for example, you bring a European shaver or lamp to the US). It's very tight on the connector, which is a plus. It's cheap, but it doesn't look cheap.
