We have used FoodVacBags on our Weston 65-0501-W Sealer with great success. We actually prefer the weight of the Weston bags, but we had no problems with the FoodVacBag. The bags were very easy to cut. After some trial and error, our preferred "slit" size is 13 inches long, which provides a good seal on both ends and slightly more capacity than a standard zippered bag. We found cutting and sealing one end to be very handy with the "assembly line" style. We then stored the "precut" packets in a large ziplock gallon bag. After that, they were quickly ready for use later with minimal effort. We used these steak bags. , chicken, hamburger, salmon and packaged and frozen 12 liter homemade spaghetti sauce. Clings to plastic, making it easier to mark and rotate objects.
