DO NOT BUY CHINA AFTER MARKET
The part worked for about 1 hour and the engine stalled. I took it out of the water and checked its resistance with a voltmeter and the resistance was zero (should be around 1800-2000) as it was before I installed it because I had tested it. If I didn't have a trolling motor I would most likely have an expensive troller. Buy a factory OMC reel for $20 more. A hard lesson learned. The originals lasted 50 years and one of them is still working.
