After many years I was able to "remember" some frequencies and my tone and I noticed a degradation in the sound quality with this cable compared to the original cable that came with my Ultimate Ears Triple-Fi. For what I need (live performance and studio recording) I don't need this cable. I'm not saying it's a bad cable, it's not, the build quality looks good so far, but the SOUND is what I need. m after. I didn't know that could happen, I'm not a cable specialist. But since my instrument is mainly bass orientated, I have to look for a different cable, as I hear the most low frequencies (around 30 Hz) when changing cables; I also hear a slight boost in the high mids. * The low frequencies with my previous cable were amazing, it's weird but yes it's actually possible! I hope this was helpful, God bless you
